Shawerma Wrap @ BSP Waterfront Food Court, Persiaran Karpal Singh

There’s a new (not really new by now, I guess) food court nearby to McDonalds Persiaran Karpal Singh (the place with the iconic Ubah Bird last time). Went there the other day, and I would say this is indeed a really good foodcourt (except for the smell, since it’s pretty nearby to the rubbish dump. But if not mistaken, this rubbish dump will be demolished in the future to make way for future housing development). Mr Shawerma, a franchise of Arabic food (didn’t know that there’s one in Gurney Paragon till I googled it) serves authentic and delicious Arabic food. Shawerma Wrap, is the one that I went for.

(Honestly speaking, I should start to invest into better photo quality. Sometimes, I feel bad quality photo is doing no justice to such delicious food. Ha-ha). This stalls is taken care by 2 Arabic worker (I assume they’re Arabic since this is Arabic food stall. 😛 ). Friendly, humorous I would say. Their menu is pretty straight forward – Shawerma Wrap, Arabic Plate, Rice, Platter and Bukhari (which I’m not sure what it means) Chicken and Lamb.

There’s a sample of Shawerma Wrap that you can see here. And yeah, the portion is pretty huge. RM19 for that. Hmm, I wouldn’t say it’s way too cheap, nor way too expensive. 1 serving of this can easily serve 2 people.

Here you go. Shawerma Wrap. The one that I’ve ordered. RM19. Look exactly like the sample that they had in front of their stalls. Verdict? Awesome. The wrap is nicely baked and the kebab chicken is nicely roasted. The condiments are unique and the coleslaw is pretty good. Like I mentioned earlier, this 1 order could easily be serving for 2 people. I couldn’t finish it up at 1 go, hence, brought it back to the stall owners for wrapping it for to-go.Shawerma Wrap

Try it out and let me know what do you think about this Arabic food. After a nice meal of this, went for a walk in the market (which is right inside the food court) where they sells typical groceries (which is really good for anyone that used to cook at home).
